I’ve met a man like that. Lucky for me it was in an artificial environment which limited what he could do. If you ever meet such an individual you’ll know. Your brain and your mouth will fail you as tools of survival. They’re just snacks for your predator.

You should be careful how you make enemies and with who. There are some people out there with so much disregard for life they could catch fire and not be concerned with the outcome. They would skin you and make you eat it just to watch you squirm.

I understand what you’re saying about immeasurable IQ. It’s not about the test. It’s about a willingness to apply oneself to solving abstract problems mentally, and to some degree it’s about inspiration. That’s why it can get immeasurable and it also highlights that these testing systems are flawed. On the other hand, intelligent work is still work.

To those who seem to be confused about intelligence: the intelligent individual is the one who will think longer and harder about a problem in order to solve it. As it is with any skill, you can become more efficient with it and do it more quickly. These brains of ours are plastic. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re stuck at your level. I lived with one of those as their most-at-hand victim from the time I was 3 until the time I was 16. I still had them on my tail until my 30s. Prior to when I met them, I was in the hands of a murderous dictatorship.

And I'm alive. Still. Unlike a lot of their victims. Brains still count for a lot. It wasn't just looks and dumb luck that got me out.

I think the killing intent is slightly modulated by gender. The male role has a predominance for protection for other, the female killing intent is normally self-preservation it seems (in my experience anyhow). But that gets convoluted. Cognitive privilege is being able to see the humor in all things.

Psychopaths do not protect. The smart ones take care of themselves to some extent and cover their tracks. The stupid ones don’t even blink when almost hit by car. Male and female psychopaths will employ different methods to get what they want because the male and female body comes with different advantages and disadvantages. What is the confusion?

On the psychopath subject...

If they are intelligent and open to it, they are actually some of the best people to discuss topics of war, biowarfare, etc with because they aren't going to have an emotional reaction. They'll just look at the puzzle pieces with you. If they're in the mood, they'll even help you put a few together.

My psychopath (and yes, I see her as mine), beat men at their own game, so I'm not sure if gender is always relevant.

I did, however, spend a lot of time trying to understand her motives and what made her tick. The only thing that truly seemed to excite her in this life was the act of sabotage. I can only assume it was a permanent retaliatory response, whether conscious or not, to some harm she experienced early on enough in life that sabotage became a habit and her go-to action.

I don't think they are emotionless. In fact, I think they are very hurt, maybe past the point of being reasoned with, hence their being psychopaths.

Remember, personalities as well as mental illnesses and deficits do not just happen, they are caused, whether by subtle biological differences or the environment and people around them, and it's usually much more the latter.

So, I was scrolling through Facebook the other day looking at reactions to the virus (mostly "Oh no, my trip to the Canaries has been canceled. Can I rebook for two weeks from now?)...

And I noticed that, from my perspective, only one in fifty people had a rational or intelligent reaction to information about the virus.

That's when I remembered that only around one in fifty people have an IQ over 130 and realized I was essentially watching forty-nine dumb blondes run into a horror movie forest while the one guy stayed back at the cabin to rig the truck ignition and drive his ass out of the movie.

Ordinarily, average people only slightly irritate me, but in a crisis they become painful to watch and interact with.

I'm highly considering cutting off contact with them nearly entirely at this point to avoid the developing migraine.

As for my own IQ, I score around 130 on a bad day and too high to measure on a good day.

I learned that it's more about social anxiety over performance than anything. Ordinary people have this unrealistic expectation of genius. They think we get everything right the first time and just instantly know all the answers. They don't realize that actual analysis is a process and that it often takes looking at all the data points, and not just one, to come to a conclusion.

When I went in to test knowing that they were expecting that from me, I worried over each question and what it would mean to their perception if I got it wrong - and that slowed me down to 130.

When I went into the test not giving a damn (yeah, I have those days too), I scored too high to accurately measure, i.e. I aced the IQ test.

It's led to an interesting life.

On one hand, I had to start paring back my language by age eight because none of the other children (or many of the adults) could understand me. They complained that my words and sentence structure were too complex and long. I regret bending to them on that. I miss the language. It also meant I spent a lot of my life faking dumb to fit in.

On the other hand, it granted me access to a lot, including Yale. I lived in their library stacks for years just absorbing everything I could. The think tanks were divine. I mean, genuinely divine. I loved those moments I had a chance to interact with other thinking people and I could actually see the cogs working in their minds instead of the usual series of roadblocks that most people have.

I may not have very many years left on this planet. Why am I spending it with idiots? It's difficult not to. After all, they're literally everywhere you turn, but I think this is the turning point in which I need to part the moronic seas instead of swimming in them.

You're talking about sociopaths. Sociopaths are made, psychopaths are born. It's a very simple logic. You can try to blur the lines (a habit you probably subconsciously picked up from your psycho) but then you're just wasting definitions.
