You have to have some understanding of statistics and exponential growth here, and you obviously do not. Italy has a normal mortality rate of 10.7 individuals for 1000 people, or just a hair over 1%. They have a population of 60.3 million. So, that means about 603,000 die annually (give or take). The CV19 has only had 2500 deaths SO FAR in Italy, which is statistically insignificant in the annual death total. However, if left unchecked, at a 3% death rate, the CV19 would be a total of 1,809,000 people dead in Italy alone. The rates could be much higher if hospitals and the medical community breaks down. That is why they are trying to slow its trajectory down. By being able to provide adequate medical care to everyone who needs it, the death rates will actually decrease. Either way, it will make its way through the population and you can expect a mortality of well over a million people in Italy alone over the next couple of years. It IS significant.

So basically if theres no underlying disease present, it acts as a type of flu. For people with underlying conditions, it can be fatal. I for one, think our family, friends and neighbors with health issues are important to protect. Therein may be why this isn't being told, because there are plenty of selfish people who would just not care about others.

Considering 60% of Americans have at least one chronic health condition, this does not bode well for us.
