Any member of the clergy right now who is trying to gather people for services is a wicked person. South Korea has already provided the perfect example on why these gatherings are not the right thing to do. Churches who continue to gather will spread the virus and people will die. All clergy who are assembling people are attempted murderers and soon to be murderers. Run away as fast as you can from any clergy who are trying to kill people.

The bible says obey the law. If the governor says stay home, stay home. This isn't about taking away your faith, it's about stopping people from dying.

You can have your faith and worship God at home. Nobody is stopping you from that.

Agreed personal freedom is important but this is the time to think about everyone around us and not only ourselfs.

I don't like it either but for a shhort time to protect those around us i don't mind.

A good shepherd will be giving council over the phone and internet to the flock. A wicked shepherd will be trying to lure the flock into the church.

i just had this conversation with my missus yesterday her family nor the entire church community are going to stop doing church and the place is full of children too, if just 1 of them gets it and takes it into church they will all get it ,, my wife said their faith in god will save them .. yet her cousin who was also devout died of cancer a few years ago they were all praying like mad for her but it still killed her, i tried explaining we are all biological this virus is biological i am a believer too but i still get flu

During the 1918 Spanish Flu the governments closed the churches. The state governments have that right.

But those governments need to make sure that COVID is deadly enough to warrant those closures. I would be happy with quarantining everyone over 70 for their protection. Better make that 80 or we won't have any elections.
