As long as we have services, I will go. Quoting: tiger1 Mine is larger. Not a mega church but at least 1,000 each week with 2 services. Closed thru March 31. We do have streaming and the pastor and several choir members will be in. It’s sad and like being in a Twilight Zone episode. I just feel numb. |

He chose passing around the collection plate over the safety of his sheeple. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73797471 This is not about money, it is about Faith in the face of terror. Fabricated terror. I do believe this virus is real, but the hysteria and the fear agenda being pushed on the people, is beyond precautionary. This is about control. When things go bad, the only thing that you can do, is rely on your Faith ! They can surely worship from home for a bit. |

A few NG can stand outside to enforce it and bring them necessities. Then let that be the state response to all known gatherings exceeding the maximum considered safe grouping. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78128618 They get 14 days of preaching and praying and everyone else gets assurance they're not going to be spreading the deadly virus back into homes and the community. This is about control. When things go bad, the only thing that you can do, is rely on your Faith ! the entire world is gods domain. I never understood why you should go to the church as a believer. You can be faithfull and not go to church. It's not the point here though. The point is if these people want to congregate then they should be allowed to and under no circumstances should that right ever be infringed. This. ^^^ EXACTLY!!!!! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78040912 United States 03/18/2020 04:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | why do so many NOT GET that quarantines have been a part of human life for millenia? NOBODY wants the infected spreading death and destruction when you can at least try to stop it? I couldn't care less if some nut job thinks God Almighty is going to protect THEM while THEY run around spreading contagion. Your rights END when they threaten mine. |

Secondly, were they all locked up for 45 days YOU would be whining that they are not allowed OUT of said church. If so... wordless.... It comes at no surprise that this topic would arise, suffice it to say, that,if it is a good Church of God, then the Spirit will have either WARN, them from such Pride that would cause them to take a risk congregating in the first place during such a unique situation, or, use that Church in proving Healing and Miracles DO exist... however that might be made possible?? Christians in the Coliseum, Revolutionary War, etc. So if a tornado, fire, flood, hurricane, mass shooter etc. was heading towards the Church and the police said not to go inside the building, you would all congregate anyhow to 'stand up for what you believe in'? What if there was a bomb about to go off? Just stay inside anyhow? Show that bomb who's boss? This Pandemic is no different than the examples above. It's a matter of Public Safety. It's not about Politics or Human Rights vs. Constitution or unjust laws being passed. How can you even compare this to "Christians in the Coliseum" or "Revolutionary War". Those are completely different issues. We're all in the same boat, except YOU want Special Rights. Selfish! Last Edited by Base12 on 03/18/2020 08:01 PM Visit my website...
