I was watching Dow futures at investing.com and it said Closed for a few minutes but the ticker was still changing. This was when it was below 5% down. Nos it's like down 4.5%.

They just aren't allowed to move any lower. They can continue to try and correct.

The U.S. stock futures price limit is triggered when stock-index futures, in trading outside the New York Stock Exchange’s 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern trading session, move 5% above or below a reference price set in the final 30 seconds of trading in the previous session, according to CME Group’s website.

So my vxx call options will print more money tomorrow. Right on. To all of you saying this is gonna just "go away", I got news for you.

Good traders can get within 20% of selling at the top or buying back in at the bottom.

Daaaamn. This is terrible.

We are conditioned to perceive it that way. But in reality, market corrections are a necessary part of the market's function.

Prices get distorted by credit and buybacks so the market corrects the prices, it is one of it's primary functions; price discovery.

Bear markets are good, the damage is always done in the bull markets overinflating the value of financial assets in comparison to the real economy's growth.

Im a shit trader, but I sold some shares in February.

not from any good decision making, because I was fighting with my sister about them (she owned half) Things got very heated between us and I said fuck it lets just sell them and be done with it.

so we did... we literally cashed out 2 days before they crashed.

They are currently worth half of what we sold them for.

Pull it like building 7.
