This is basically nothing, considering that in 2018, about 25.000 people have died of the normal flu in Germany alone. When someone talks flippantly about 10,000 people dying as "basically nothing" take a critical look at them. Its nothing as long as its not them or someone they love. Health officials are looking at cases in the 90 to 150 MILLION if this is not contained drastically very soon! At 2% mortality that would mean 3 million would die in the US alone! Will you be still saying 6 or 8 months down the road that 3 million is "basically nothing"? Your perpetuating a myth that only people 80 and over are dying. That is a blatant lie! Healthy people in their 40 to 60's are catching the virus every day. This is a serious situation - and disregarding it or lying about it is not helping. I know this is a conspiracy forum - but get real. Statistically speaking, no myth, 10,000 worldwide, is nothing Do the math. 7,000,000,000 total population. Besides, everyone dies at some point. Many are relieved. And like Imhotep said, death is the beginning. In hindsight, death from flu is not nearly the ordeal death by starvation is. Ok, lets talk statistics. The Spanish Flu Pandemic lasted from March 1918 to the Summer of 1919 - roughly 16 to 18 months. The Spanish Flu took 675,000 lives in the US alone. Worldwide, 1/3 of the worlds population was infected. I will ignore the Chinese numbers since we all know how the communists lie (just like the Dems). January 20th 2020, the number of CV cases outside of China = 4. Only 4 cases in the entire world outside of China! By February 20th, one month later, the number of cases had risen to 1,200. By March 20th, the number of cases in the world is 163,300. From 4 to 163,300 Corona Virus cases in the world (not including China) in just 2 months - and the cases are rising exponentially every day!! Now you don't have to be a math wizard to know that that is just a crazy astronomical increase. We are only 2 months into a pandemic that lasted a year and a half in 1918. Our Pandemic is just in its infancy! If this virus is not stopped, and stopped quick, can you see how this can easily overcome the 675,000 killed in the 1918 Pandemic? Saying 10,000 deaths is "nothing" when this Pandemic is in its infancy is shortsighted at best and simply stupid at worst.
