Daughter is pregnant! How should she get to hospital when quarantined?

All I remember hearing about is putting a white handkerchief out drivers window if vehicle has broken down on side of road, you'll be right back, please don't tow.

Haven't heard of anything out the window during emergency while enroute.

So yes, like others have mentioned, call your non-emergency pd number to be prepared ahead of time. And get suggestions from the doctor.

There are people getting 'traveling papers' now, so maybe the pd can tell her about those, if needed in her area.

With my middle son, we were 45 minutes from the nearest hospital. At that time, the doctor's best advice was to leave home at the earliest sign of impending labor. Which yes, meant we had extra trips because of false alarms. He finally was born, and we managed to get there in time with enough time for my husband to get his scrubs on. Nothing hanging out the car window, but going fast down the freeway, that's for sure.
