Anyone wearing PPE and heading out in the world? Masks, gloves, goggles?

Can't get hold of masks.. So bought a military balaclava.. Under that a bandana.. Not worn yet but well on future skirmishes to shops full of people.. Fuk it's given me ocd lol

I'm thinking of heading to Lowes to get some PVC pipe to make a hydroponic garden - and was going to wear my mask, gloves, goggles. Heard stories of people freaking out over it or getting mad.

Ran out to Aldi's this a.m. wearing PPE (needed eggs). Got a couple stares and a few backed away from me/steered clear of me, but this was the first time I'd been out where there were 2 other people wearing PPE (masks and gloves). And these 2 ppl were not together.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm figuring that if I go out I will also get stares....hopefully no violence.

I've watched Patriot Nurse and she said people were verbally insulting her when she was wearing her PPE.

I went to a cancer center yesterday. (Taking a loved one) We both wore masks and gloves.

There was screening at the front door.

I felt fine wearing the masks and gloves.

I then went to another cardiology office wearing my face mask and gloves.

I felt fine.

I think people, at the places I went to just felt I was taking extra precautions.

No one in the cardiology office were wearing PPE. But the cancer center had a few.

Masks and gloves are starting to catch on in the midwest. I went to Walmart yesterday in Springfield, IL. Maybe one in ten people/couples had them on. I would have took pictures of the bare selves, but I went mid-afternoon. It was like a Sunday afternoon crowd. Busy, not overwhelming. Lunchtime traffic was like 11PM shift change. Everyone still on the roads was Mad Maxing out though. I had to go in and get my hair did before they shut the salons down. It's a nice little clean place with just my girl and another. I imagine a lot of them will work at home on the down low.

They shut the Dollar Generals down over in Taylorville, IL. Is that happening anywhere else?
