The problem with supply chains is all the same.
They need people. Lots of them.
When this virus began to spread, the first thing that was affected was the human ability to travel, most of the time for the basis of work. Now it’s leaking into other areas such as supply chains both internationally and locally.
This raises the future question: How do we keep everyone home for safety concerns but also keep things moving?
The answer will be simple to those who won’t be affected by the consequences.
Robots and computers.
They don’t get sick.
They don’t get tired.
They do as they are told.
They take minimal human interaction to produce the output of thousands of human workers in the same amount of time.
If they existed, obviously avoiding the other issues that could arise from this, the only problem would be the virus.
And go.
