There are butterflies everywhere!

Oh man it was so cute just now! As I was about to start velveting some chicken to make Kung pao for lunch, the juvenile magpie (Peepers) came to the front door asking for treats. I went out and started feeding him and his mom and dad (Midge and Marvin) ran over to get some too.

So this butterfly flys right by Peepers and he peeps and runs after it. He chases and catches it, then keeps letting it go and it flys and he catches it again! He was like a cat playing with a mouse! Poor butterfly, but it was adorable the way he let out squeaks of surprise that it could still fly every time he let it go.
