I mean we are very concerned now, if there is a real virus or not and if they will lock us or not, vaxx us, etc.

But maybe if the things will go downwards we may need to recourse to planting keeping a chicken for eggs, something...

I just have a strange feeling that most people on here wouldn't put in the amount of work it takes to put in a garden

Mother Earth News magazine is also online. Decades of information on how our ancestors did things, made things and plenty on gardening and canning. It also has a wealth of recipes. You can get the original untampered seeds in Burpee’s line of Heirloom seeds that your great grandparents grew.

Yes, but because have now very limited time until the internet it's up, would be feasible for people to download few books like I did with "Home vegetable Gardening" (thanks AC78152662 for that!)

Wow, very interesting the site of David Domoney, but is just in web HTML format. Besides downloading in entirety as a site is there a place with those advice as PDF? To save it now quickly?

I said this weeks ago. Watch every video Charles Dowding has on Youtube. Sure you can read books and try to follow along, but it's easier to watch and learn. Charles is a fantastic teacher with decades of experience.

Take notes as you watch the videos. And for heavens sake get your seeds now - as in today!!!

Start with this video.

Thanks AC. Seed ordered yesterday and supposed to come day after tomorrow.

I still have lots of seeds from France (Vilmorin), but those seeds are old from 2010, 2011, I do not know if still viable nowadays but I kept in dry, stable temperature and in dark, in some paper bags inside cartoon boxes.

Yes, I understand these, I have DevonThink PRO, I can DL entire sites, but I have no time to select what to download now. I prefer to DL now a bunch of stuff and when I will start the garden, then read, select what's applicable, etc. Now, I do not have time to create myself a culture in agriculture :)

I think lots of people in this situation. But I know that if I need to DL now, before Internet it's gone is this, agriculture books! I have land, I have seeds, I have some family members, I used to have a garden when I was child but I forget most of things!

Maybe the guy, has some pdf already and just to download from somewhere.

Or, if you know some good books for agriculture that I can buy, no problem. Just I need from expert people that consider this or that book is good and confident. I don't need some books written by someone who picked up from internet, never plant a vegetable, but compiled the info of others and then made a book. I want something that you know is legit and you applied many issue from that book and those worked.

Thank you everybody for your kind suggestions and contributions!

Vid I will try to DL, but is time and band consuming! Is last recourse but I will search that from AC from France

Yes, this gentleman is planing using the Eden Garden technique of Paul Gautschi, of planting in the soil w/o tiling. Paul employs woodchips and it is less work and huge abundant crops.

For this style of planting you just need wood-chips, but you need time, at least 1 year until the breakdown of the chips in more fertile soil.

grow potatoes!!

That is how the Irish made enough food to live on in small backyard plots.

Baker Seeds in Missouri - they protect the purity of their seeds - you won't find these plants at the big stores. These are REAL seeds. Start a compost pile. Get digging! March 25 is time to plant by the lunar calendar, which farmers for centuries have sworn gives them much larger, healthier harvests.

I go to burpees Facebook page and ask questions there. Burpee seeds are not cheap but their tomatoes will take abuse and still grow. Industrial strength tomatoes.

I also use all miracle grow products. Their moisture control pitting soil is fantastic.
