America wastes 150,000 tons of food per day. 30-40% of the food supply. Why the "supply chain down"/"edge of starvation" psyop?
Americans waste about a pound of food per person each day, with people who have healthier diets rich in fruit and vegetables the most wasteful, research has found. About 150,000 tons of food is tossed out in US households each day, equivalent to about a third of the daily calories that each American consumes.

*

It's easy to see why school food waste goes unnoticed—America squanders just US$1.2 billion via school lunch annually, a tiny slice of the estimated US$218 billion in food wasted in America each year

*

In fact, the average American ends up throwing away a full 103 pounds of spoiled food each year, according to a recent survey of 2,000 people conducted by OnePoll for Bosch home appliances. That works out to an average of 4 items a week, or the weekly equivalent of $53.81.

*

We waste a lot of food. In fact, close to a third of the world's food production is wasted each year, accounting for roughly 1.3 billion tons and nearly $990 billion dollars. In the United States alone, Americans waste $160 billion of that total, which is nearly 30 to 40 percent of the entire U.S. food supply

In the United States, food waste is estimated at between 30-40 percent of the food supply. This estimate, based on estimates from USDA's Economic Research Service of 31 percent food loss at the retail and consumer levels, corresponded to approximately 133 billion pounds and $161 billion worth of food in 2010.

There's not a shortage. There is a restriction of supply.

Most people have enough food in their cupboards to last 2 weeks. May not be what they feel like eating but they do have food. This is drama. There are some people out there who work low pay that may not. I pray they are cared for by neighbors etc

Coz they’re buying it....and wasting it. And throwing their hoards of food they’ve bought in the damn trash.

I don’t know anyone except my immediate family who will eat leftovers....

Exactly. This situation is engineered. I don't doubt there are empty shelves in some places, but how can there be a genuine shortage in a country that throws away ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND TONS of food per day?

a majority of that isnt being wasted now that business are closed. Im not saying americans themselves in our homes dont throw food out, but most of that is because of standards.

OK, everyone throws out spoiled food, no worries. But dont buy so much and store it better. The point is, there is absolutely no genuine shortage.

Sure there are a lot of people in trouble and living paycheck to paycheck. They are in an even worse situation now, but that is a deliberate NWO lockdown.

Just saying all food "shortages" are contrived, hyped and pre-meditated. There's nothing natural or organic about this situation.

People are hoarding. I finished my preps weeks ago and have not used them. We are using what we can get now. I think people started mass "prepping" a week ago. They are hoarding because they do not know how to prep. They don't know when to stop when they have enough.
