BTW - I agree that it's never going away but not because of deep freezers or packaging.

To be honest I don't know how well deep freezers would preserve an active virus specimen but viruses can only live so long on surfaces without a host so packing won't be a long term problem.

I do think people are getting it through the mail right now though.

It will become a seasonal problem just like the flu but humans will at least have some immunity base since it is only completely novel the first time even as it mutates & makes the rounds every year.

Next time there should be some antibodies out there so it shouldn't be quite as bad.

Now..think of all the MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF FREEZERS around the world...household freezers...restaurant freezrs...factory freezers...container ship freezers..

If only 10% of these freezers have the bug lurking anywhere on a package or whatever..
