The USA produces so much food and can actually produce a lot more than it does. Imported stuff will be the concern and of course hoarding will lead to some shortages in the stores. The processors are already wrestling with how much to ramp up- they are more afraid of boom/bust once everyone has so much they won't spend as much and demand falls off a cliff.

Its been raining a ton here ground has been completely saturated here. Not only that we are entering a grand solar minimum and yields will be big time. Gas will be a quarter a gallon but a loaf of bread going to be 50 bucks. Quoting: Homeland76 Right here folks, this is our next challenge
