and, yes, 3 hours, is insane--but mostly in enclosed spaces without good ventilation. at least i hope it's not the case outside.

So the air at a typical supermarket right now with everyone panic buying must be pretty tasty.

Face masks are only protective for about 30 to 60 minuets of wearing
Due to moisture in the exhaulation of breathing. When they get moisture they can cause the aerosolized virus to wick in faster in to the nose or mouth.
Aerosolized viruses can inter threw the eyes so it is important to have a good fitting eye protection also .

but its not going to stay in the air 3 hours.

The problem is people having it in crowds and getting in your face to talk.

you can wear gloves and do everything right and some jackass will approach you and spread it.

scary enough. but taking a bus to a supermarket scares me even more. i haven't used any public transport in weeks.

I avoided going to supermarkets early on when people made panic buying, full of people there.
I only go shopping to places at night, which are open 24/7.
they made wrong moves already then, now they are still buying alltogether, they don't believe this virus, we'll see a week ahead...
