Those in the Medical Field Please Post How Many COVID 19 Patients are in Your Hospitals

None yet in top ten hospital in nation located in Midwest.

I still say we have 2-4 weeks before we start seeing overwhelmed with patients. At least here in Midwest

The question is how many have at at home never get tested and make it through just fine....this would show much different percentage in many ways....

I don't know numbers but the medical juggernaut in Delaware, ChristianaCare,


shut down its free-standing outpatient surgery center more than a week ago.

I asked why.... they said because of the huge influx of patients expected. All staff and all equipment must be ready for those patients.


I am sorely disappointed at the logic of taking relatively healthy surgical outpatients and putting them in the main hospital "with all the cases we expect".

Before people start calling for conspiracy, let me throw out the fact that there are about 6000 hospitals in the U.S. There are still well under 1000 critical cases needing to be hospitalized. Therefor it will seem like barely any or maybe even 0 cases at most hospitals

I sure hope not. I'm hoping that these two weeks of self quarantine will help curb the numbers immensely.

Omg, this is horrible. I wonder if people that need blood transfusions will be able to get them? Probably not......

very few ~ because outside the severe cases - which are 700 in the entire country, 29,000 out of the 30,000 cases are MILD, and the people are at home.

How do you doomers not understand how this works?

There has to be a certain amount of spread before your hospitals will get over-run.

The amount is 15% need icu.

Think about your local hospital and its capacity.

So if your hospital has 100 beds, it would take 1500 cases before you see your hospitals fill up.

80% of icu need ventilators. After those run you see deaths.

then we will just transfer the entire population to the hospitals the day we let them out..lol..what a joke.

I'm not saying they won't fill up - or even that it's not real. I know it's real. I was just curious how many cases in the health care industry are seeing. I'm hoping that there won't be as many as they are predicting.

I laugh at those “I still have to work everyday to save people” medical workers on my social media, yet they have no patients in their hospitals... in fact they have LESS than before this thing started.
