Two tested positive and have been admitted. Quoting: Alpacalips What about your local hospital. Do you know the actual numbers you have witnessed in person? Please post city and State - or at least State. Thanks. The question is how many have at at home never get tested and make it through just fine....this would show much different percentage in many ways.... |

I asked why.... they said because of the huge influx of patients expected. All staff and all equipment must be ready for those patients. I am sorely disappointed at the logic of taking relatively healthy surgical outpatients and putting them in the main hospital "with all the cases we expect". stupidity affects a family member. Therefor it will seem like barely any or maybe even 0 cases at most hospitals WisdomSeeker |

There has to be a certain amount of spread before your hospitals will get over-run. The amount is 15% need icu. Think about your local hospital and its capacity. So if your hospital has 100 beds, it would take 1500 cases before you see your hospitals fill up. 80% of icu need ventilators. After those run you see deaths. What don't you get |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72384628 United States 03/22/2020 05:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | its ..ok...think.. Just think..no patients now... so lets confine people for 2 weeks.. the incubation period is 14 days.. then we will just transfer the entire population to the hospitals the day we let them out..lol..what a joke. |

I'm hoping that there won't be as many as they are predicting. |
