Maintaining Reason in a Time of Madness

Between these two aspects (call them thesis and antithesis) there is strife and tension, an inevitable coming together and symbiotic annihilation, each of the other, to form something like, and unlike it's constituent parts, something altogether new. That new thing is a projection of me, my own personal (created/constructed) shadow, the person typing these words at this later date (eight(?) years later).
