Breaking: 5 Florida university says students tested positive for coronavirus after spring break trip

According to the Tampa Bay Times, U.T. is not the only university in Florida to report new cases of the virus in recent days. The University of South Florida St. Petersburg and the University of Florida reportedly made similar announcements on Sunday.

Three of the four students returned to campus after their vacation — and while none of the students have been hospitalized, all are self-isolating, the university wrote in a message to the campus community.

News of the six Florida college coronavirus cases come just days after Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott, who previously served as the state's governor, told individuals to get off the beach after images of crowded beaches began circulating online despite the White House's social distancing recommendations.

"Individuals need to take responsibility and every level of government has got to be very clear: Don't be on the beach unless you can somehow be completely by yourself," Scott told CNN on Thursday morning.

"I mean, we've got to figure out the social distancing."

"Every part of government has to start telling people: 'Take some personal responsibility here.

Don't infect other people.

Don't take a chance that you're going to be the one who is gonna cause your grandparent, or your parents, or another friend from school to get sick,'" he added. "Get off the beach."

If you tested all Americans for this CV BULLSHIT, I bet at least 25% of the country - maybe a much higher number would test positive because CV has been in THIS COUNTRY since NOVEMBER 2019. That is when CV emerged in China and we had unrestricted travel until Feb 1 2020, and then Chinese could STILL get here by coming through Europe, Canada, or Mexico. Which means the virus has BEEN HERE FOR AT LEAST 5 (FIVE) MONTHS.

Many many people would test positive if we had general testing because for most people this is a mild cold at best, or they have NO SYMPTOMS AT ALL. A few might get very sick, but the numbers are unbelievably LOW when you actually examine them as I HAVE.

It is also not very contagious. I've read of many couples (and I know of 1 personally) where only ONE person got the virus, not the spouse or other family members. Therefore, it CANNOT be very contagious.

So fed up with this destructive HOAX.

Keep in mind that the global population is allegedly (because I don't know if I believe any UN figures) 7 BILLION people. The numbers next to her are (I put in the percentages):

For the USA with an allegedly population of 30 million (probably higher because of illegals):

These are TINY numbers of people....TINY. We are disrupting the entire global economy over TINY numbers of people. And we don't even know for sure that's what they're sick or dying of because I suspect A LOT OF PEOPLE are miscategorized (I think that's why there is a higher mortality rate globally, also many of these populations may not be as healthy or have the medical care of the US. We are STILL talking about TINY numbers).

All of this is for NOTHING....a GIANT HOAX over a seasonal flu.

You're under the assumption that it started in China. Could have started here or could have been unleashed in multiple places all at once. Death destruction mayhem.

The only information we have to go on - what they TELL us - is that it started in China end of October/beginning of November 2019. That means there was unrestricted travel between US & China for 3 MONTHS. Even after the travel ban started in Feb 1 2020, Chinese still kept coming in from Europe, Canada and Mexico. So we basically had travel from China for nearly FIVE MONTHS until they started these ludicrous lockdowns. Corona Virus 19 could have existed BEFORE NOV 19 of course, but that's when the alleged infections started in China, so that's when the clock starts.

That proves at minimum that the positive rate in the US could be much higher than they are positing and could actually be much of the population especially as this seems to be a mild illness in most people.

It must be awesome to live life like you. Blissful ignorance, not a care in the world.

Students at UT wouldn’t have “traveled” to visit the local world class beaches, they are a quick drive away from campus & available to them all the time, they were likely elsewhere.

U of Tampa is a private school where only 20% of its student body comes from FL & a full 10% is International students.
