So much information is here about other states. I'm so freaking glad you ladies are taking this seriously. I hope one of you have a fb or a twitter account and preach it to everyone. I understand save yourself first, but some people have no sense at all and can harm others, unwittingly.

My first suggestion is take your shoes off at the door. Wash your hands immediately after you touch them.

Stay safe.

Funny you should mention that. I’m strongly considering bringing up an old page that I had for news just for this.

I apologize for not updating today. I’m pulling 12 hr shifts at the office. I’m drained and an emotional wreck.

The agent we booked our condo through for our son’s now-cancelled beach wedding refuses to refund our deposit. I have been nice and today I raised hell. Won’t budge. Said they’ll apply to a vacation within 6 months.

Husband got called for a job offshore and we know that it very well may be his last one. He’s not worked in two wks but bc he’s technically employed I don’t think anything is available to us.

My Dad called and filled me in on the way home on what was said today by Trump. Haven’t been to grocery in two weeks and still good but based off what he said I think I’ll make another quick run.

Very grateful husband will be able to make some money but I’m a bit afraid of him being gone. I’m here with the kids and all family is 4 hrs away across state lines. Basically I’m on my own.

Sorry for rambling....I’ll play catch up tomorrow.... I haven’t even seen numbers today.

I can't believe they won't refund the deposit for the wedding. Several people I know are rescheduling for the fall but I would wonder about that as well. Might we have a resurgence of the virus then?

I will keep you in my prayers and hope you are able to find a little peace with everything you have going on right now.hf

I took a vacation week this week even though I worried about doing it. Kept thinking that I might need to save it for later, but now I'm glad I did. I'm enjoying spending time with the husband and our two daughters. I'm dreading having to go back to work next week but I'm hopeful that they have put some additional safety measures in place by then.

I read an article about this earlier this morning. It seems that they didn't really arrest him. He is adamant that he will continue doing his thing. I don't know what to think about this. On the one hand, I do see this as a religious liberty issue, but on the other, he and his congregation are putting others at risk.

St. John the Baptist Parish enacts curfew.

As of Wednesday, St. John Parish had 13 deaths from COVID-19 and has had 118 diagnosed cases, according to the state Department of Health.

"The curfew is necessary because of the alarming rise in COVID-19 cases and deaths in St. John Parish," Tregre said.

“St. John is too small to have these numbers.”

Are our rights gone? Don’t know the guy, BUT, there is way more than 50 people in my grocery store at any given time. Does somehow magically the “virus “ not infect people going to grocery stores? What about Lowe’s, Home Depot? Does it magically not infect the restaurant workers doing curbside pickup? This whole crap show is a sham. Corona virus is a cold/flu. Covid 19 is an offshoot , another strain . The joke is on you, me and every other person on earth that are abiding by the communist rule being imposed by the fear propaganda. It “appears” that everyone who dies now , dies from the corona virus! No other deaths even count now.
This whole thing is a coordinated psy-op on everyone. Does this certain virus exist? Yes. By all accounts it does. There is a patent for it. Most likely a vaccine for it aswell. That is where they will really get you, take the vaccine or no work, no ability to buy or sell, etc. sound familiar?
Good on that preacher for giving a big thumbs down to our Communist Satanic Governor JBE. Oh, I know people will say but, but, but so and so died. People die everyday from getting sick , heart attacks, pneumonia cancer, etc. Young, middle aged, old , doesn’t matter , We ALL die at some point. Are you going to live in fear? That’s what most seem to be doing as they follow in lockstep the government “orders”.
Stand up and be the free sovereign you were meant to be.
Walk in the Full Armor of God. Make your choice. You cannot serve 2 masters.
 Quoting: MKPitBull

I just want add, it’s not that I don’t believe there is a contagion or pathogen being used against us. There are different levels to this situation. Event 201 was them telling you what was coming. Revealing the evil before you are delt a version of it. Agenda 21, Deagel report, all of this has been out for years. Gleen what you can and understand the way things are enacted. Stand outside the box and look at the whole picture. We are living in biblical times. God Bless you all. No matter political affiliation or not. You are currently receiving the “virus” through your “eyes and ears”. Think about the fear being promoted through the media outlets. God Bless you all.

I had a dream a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t even a dream. I was somewhat awake. I was told remember who you are. Vision of myself encased in armor with wings and of huge stature. The armor had markings that I described to my wife and child. I’m not a hyroglyphic person but scribbled out what I remembered. Daughter researched it and it was “Warrior /protector” and some other things. Don’t know exactly what it all means, but I’m following God’s word.
 Quoting: MKPitBull

MK-- odd.. For about six months before this all happened, I kept thinking this same thing. "remember who you are- and I knew I was a warrior - meant to save others.

It was so strong, that I thought it meant that I needed to leave the job I hated and go back to the thing I loved- because the work I do serves others, and "saves" them.

Now that this has happened and I read your post, I think maybe some of us are here to help humanity in another way.

Be well.

Mom had a hotel booked until April 6th - and they called me yesterday and told me she had to be out by 11 today. They gave me this news at 4:30 in the afternoon, so I was scrambling to find an alternate place.

The place she was staying was a pit. My Mom had to scrub the tub before she took a bath, and she had two rooms. The first one flooded, and luckily she got out before it ruined her items.

I called their customer service and they told me they could not honor a discount at all! Even though it was the worst experience ever.

Good news is, she's in a lovely cottage I found on airbnb and it was cheaper than the crummy hotel.

I get the feeling that when Covid is over they are gonna get introduced to my Cajun girl. :)

New Orleans East nurse dies amid coronavirus pandemic, LCMC confirms

A New Orleans-area nurse on the front line of treating patients with coronavirus – and who contracted the virus herself – has died amid the pandemic, the first coronavirus-related death of a local health care worker that a hospital has publicly announced thus far.

Larrice Anderson, a nurse at New Orleans East Hospital, tested positive for the coronavirus and died this week, LCMC Health announced Wednesday afternoon. Public records show that she was 45 years old, and had been registered as a nurse since 2008.

I'm not sure if they have a hospital but the death rate there is heartbreaking.

St. John the Baptist Parish now has the highest per-capita death rate of any county in the U.S. from the coronavirus, a grim statistic that partly owes to a significant and growing cluster of the virus in a Reserve nursing home for veterans.

<snip>

Indeed, St. John's mortality rate so far is incredibly high: Of 118 known cases in the parish, 13 people have died, a rate of 11% -- nearly twice the rate of New Orleans.

Why is New Orleans' coronavirus death rate 7 times New York's? Obesity is a factor

New Orleans residents suffer from obesity, diabetes and hypertension at rates higher than the national average, conditions that doctors and public health officials say can make patients more vulnerable to COVID-19, the highly contagious respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus.

Some 97% of those killed by COVID-19 in Louisiana had a preexisting condition, according to the state health department. Diabetes was seen in 40% of the deaths, obesity in 25%, chronic kidney disease in 23% and cardiac problems in 21%.

Bagala, 54, is at least the second member of Louisiana’s House of Representatives to test positive for COVID-19. State Rep. Ted James, 37, a Baton Rouge Democrat, was hospitalized with pneumonia by Monday night after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.

A third member of the House, Rep. Rodney Lyons, D-Harvey, has said he was hospitalized with symptoms associated with COVID-19 but never tested positive for it.
