New Orleans Archbishop asks for prayer....has been diagnosed with CV [ link to www.wwltv.com (secure)] NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Archbishop Gregory Aymond - who served mass as recently as yesterday (Sunday) has told his fellow priests that he has tested positive for the coronavirus. The Archbishop said in his note to fellow priests that he had not been feeling well lately and took the test, which came back positive. Eeeekkk!!! I went to mass at St. Louis Cathedral in NOLA on 3/8 and he presided over the mass. I was actually going to go shake his hand afterward but too many people were around him. At that level of responsibility and education, a person who did not self-quarantine instead of complaining to fellow priests that he had not been feeling well "lately", was really thoughtless. In the middle of a highly contagious pandemic, he starts to feel sick and then goes out and serves mass to hundreds of people? Jack ass move. Really dumb.
