And I believe the quote was something about humans not being able to understand exponential functions:

The thing that is so dangerous is how many people like those one-starring this thread, or claiming that this is all overblown, are running around, spreading the infection, making it even harder to contain.

I guess until every single person actually knows someone who has died from it, we have little hope of convincing those who think it's just a bunch of hype.

The doctors in Italy certainly don't think that way.
