Date Mortality Doubling in /Days 28.Jan 132 31.Jan 259 3 days 04.Feb 492 4 days 10.Feb 1018 6 Days 18.Feb 2009 8 Days 09.Mrz 4025 20 Days 17.Mrz 7978 8 Days 23.Mrz 16125 6 Daysi've been watching the numbers, and the doubling of the mortality rate is speeding up. we hit 16,000 deaths today. 6 days after we hit approximately 8,000. all the stats are from the link below. [ link to www.worldometers.info (secure)] [ link to gis.cdc.gov (secure)] Every week USA has around 50000 total deaths, 3500 are because of Flue/Pneumonia. As of now the numbers are not even in high level. As for looking at cumulative global numbers, you cannot use them to do any meaningful statistics. When total number of deaths per week starts exceeding regular/average number of deaths we have to start worrying.
