we're talking millions of dead in the next couple of months, and you post a thread.
i personally know of 6 people here in switzerland and one person in the states that currently has corona. nobody i know died, luckily.

I was laid off last week. They laid off 90% of the roughly 400 people at my small business, in Arkansas. I've never missed a day in five years there...gone. Done. It's over, they let us take home all the food that is going to spoil yesterday. That was my golden watch. Meanwhile, most stores in my city are closed. Nobody is going to work. Everybody is at home. The internet is super super slow. Water, at certain times of the day, is slow enough to walk to the mailbox and when you come back your glass is still not full. And it tastes like chlorine really strongly. Anyway. My mother, and two brothers in Florida? yeah, they think I'm crazy, actually think I'm way over exaggerating the 'societal level changes' taking place in the USA and around the world. They say, 'Wharf, bro-- chillax. I just went to the beach. I literally just hung out in the bars with the spring break college kids. You are making us concerned about your mental health.' And I read these emails locked in my apartment, with no job, no money coming in, running out of food, and running out of options. That's my reality, from the USA. March 23, 2020 My friend, don't feel like you're the crazy one - you are right, it just hasn't caught up with them yet. In warm sunny climates, people are usually more optimistic anyway. It will catch up with them as more things close down and become even more Nazi-like and draconian. I think unless Trump orders that everything re-open immediately and that this virus has been way overstated - which he won't alas, our economy could be ruined for a generation. I don't know anything that could help us recover from all these UNNECESSARY shut downs. And all these politicians CASHED OUT THEIR MONEY FIRST so they knew about this, it was all planned and engineered, they got THEIRS and they don't give a shit about us.
