Everything he cited is evident in the data posted at multiple sites. So dispute the date, dispute the math but you can't call it horse shit because you do not understand the math.
Right now, in Italy, the case fatality rate is 10%, this is directly calculated by the DATA. It's not rocket science. deaths/cases x 100.
Right now, if you look at the US data, the number of infected is DOUBLING every 3 days Today 65.8K, three days ago 33.3K three days earlier 13.7K This is DATA it's real if you dare look at it. Run the numbers out three weeks, if nothing changes, the number of infected in the US will be 7 doublings (21/3=7) 65K becomes 130K, 260K, 520K, 1 MILLION, 2 million, to 4 million in just three weeks!
We know based on DATA 15% need a hospital bed, 15% of 4 million is 600K needing ICU/HOspital beds. WE do not have the capacity to care for that many sick all at once. Many will not get care and will die. This is consistent with the anecdotal information leaked out of Wuhan in January and February. This is consistent with the experience of Italy and now Spain.
I hope I'm wrong but this isn't horse shit, it's math and you can easily replicate it yourself based on the reported data. Observation can prove it as well, Italy's medical system is overrun, New York is getting there, Detroit and Atlanta are at or near capacity now.
I suggest you look at the date, run the math and wake the fuck up.
This may just be the first wave, a medical intervention is a must to get us back to normal, otherwise, this is the new normal so the sooner you accepted it and adapt, the better off you will be.
