I agree cosmic forces are at work. It's a fierce battle. But I may not have the same end vision as you. There is plenty salvageable in the current system... and 5G cashless sure wouldn't be any better.

I've seen no evidence of the "virus".. just the media hype and these odd quarantines and shutdowns. No surprise that he would defy the ones who have been trying to remove him since day 1.

Risking the life of millions to reopen the economy: OK

Bringing the economy to a standstill would also put millions of lives at risk. Buy some Vitamin C and a facemask you Canadian ninny.

There is no reason to believe some version of this virus won't be with us again next year and the year after etc. We'll be bled to death if we take the current approach twice, I say go for it and God bless President Donald John Trump for having the balls to backtrack if/when he sees the current policy is doing more harm than good.

Personally 3 people I know have it. I see evidence.

Trumps tendency to backtrack is both a weakness and a strength. More of a strength... and it shows the faction war that's going on behind the scenes.

Shutting everything down reveals the true state of health of a population. Americans are s sickly, diseased population - like many others. The ONLY way a viable population can be salvaged is to keep it shut down and given the population a chance to heal - even as large swaths drop over dead. A recurring sickness with seasonal fluctuations is not going to be more benign in an unhealthy population - certainly not this kind of sickness which is, essentially, a more virulent form of the flu - itself becoming increasingly deadly for many.

Simply putting everyone back to work will make matters far worse and will do nothing to address the health of the American people - unless the goal is simply to maximum kill them, which will be Trump's lasting legacy if he drives the beasts back to toiling away in their present state.

Stupid decision or someone is manipulating into making this stupid decision. Once the infection cases and death pile up and the hospitals are scenes of chaos and death he will have to backtrack and make an ass out of himself.
