I get my pay by fund transfer to my bank account. Haven't gotten a paper paycheck since 2014. I pray bills electronically. Haven't written a check in years. Cash and coins are filthy. If you are honest in your financial transactions. So what???

All the currencies are about equal now. Japanese Yen, Canada, EU, US. Brits are slightly higher.

Would save lots of people scamming with counterfeits. Would make accounting much easier, doing away with Money Exchanges.

Smh, absolutely disgusting. People need help right now and all they care about is pushing their agendas on us all. I've been hoping the checks go through because I have friends who have been out of work, and now more will be - VT just issued a stay at home order that goes into effect at 5pm tomorrow. Only essential businesses can stay open. So, more lay offs, more unemployment.

I am considered essential, but people are not taking this seriously. People come into the store I work at all day just to walk around, talk, browse, let their kids play in the toy dept....all because "I'm bored". And I'm over it. My company has given everyone the option to "self quarantine" at home for 2 weeks if we dont feel comfortable. However, it's unpaid. If I get the virus or am mandated by my doctor, government, etc. to quarantine then I would get 2 week with pay. Or if my store has to shut down for some reason (they never will). I REALLY want to take the self isolation 2 weeks off but cant afford it. If this stimulus goes through, then I could. Stop f**ing around and help people already!

A mandate also requires all ‘member banks’ establish a ‘pass-through digital dollar wallet’ to all customers eligible for the stimulus. Member banks include those banks that are ‘members’ of the Federal Reserve and regulated by the Fed. Additionally, ‘Non-Member’ state banks - those that not members of the Federal Reserve and regulated by the FDIC - could opt-in to offer pass-through digital dollar wallets as well.

The Federal Reserve banks themselves would also make available a digital dollar wallet to any U.S. person eligible for the payments as well. Additionally, the U.S. Postal Service would aim to help unbanked individuals and/or those without proper ID to establish their identity be provided a digital dollar account, and would set up ATMs for customers to access their funds.
