Re: Just got laid off
I'm female over 60.
Sorry about your situation, keep hope, it will change.

Also, as a woman let me warn you about jobs that separate husbands and wives for long months at a time and I'm trying to not go off color here so bare with me.

Males go through a natural hormone time where any hole is a need to be filled. Might be the nicest, loyal guy out there, but often it's just a hormone drive to procreate and sometimes alcohol can make self control even harder.

Now, with women. Unless we have and like ,"toys" to enjoy we also get hormone driven.
We are the black holes in the universe and need a mate.
We also often need a man's attention as we are more an emotional creature.
Being told," you're pretty today" or "you look sexy" goes a looking way with women.

You're long absence was something she just couldn't handle as well as other women who can stay alone for a much longer duration.

All income aside, the big house, women like those things but her little, hormone voice kept telling her how lonely she was, how you left her as a single deserted mother and disappeared for over a year.

Hormones never make sense, they are only chemical.

Next time you begin a relationship try one where your home every night.

Goodluck.

Yeah I haven't filled a hole in over a year and being honest I think the next one will be marriage first.

Program in Lafayette, LA

The finest electrical workers in the country receive their training through the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

It’s a model education partnership which produces the best-trained, most up-to-date electrical apprentices and journeymen in the country. All of the $100 million annually spent is privately funded.

Re: Just got laid off
After 24 years in the gulf of mexico I just got laid off so it looks like I'll end up losing My house. No point in looking for work because I live in an oil town and jobs not connected to the oil industry only pay like 8 dollars an hour.

Something to think about is that things/stuff don't really matter in the end. Nobody on their deathbed ever said, "Take good care of my Harley."

If a person is deeply depressed or facing terminal illness, they have less concern about "things". If a person is in good health then that is most important.

If it looks like you are facing a major loss then my advice would be to take some of your most prized possessions over to a trusted family member or very close friend's place for safekeeping. Avoid the consumerist lifestyle and live each day as an end in itself. Just remember that people have lost their homes to fires and tornadoes. So you are in a lot of ways in a better position than those people.

I'm going to just walk away from everything and just take My clothes. The EX can have everything I just don't want to stress out over taking care of a family that no longer wants Me here. I'll pay a little child support and support Myself only for a while.

Re: Just got laid off
One of the coolest things about becoming an electrician is that it’s standard practice to receive paid on-the-job training in the form of an apprenticeship. And as apprentice electricians gain more skills and experience over the four-to-six years it takes to complete an apprenticeship program, their earnings also increase accordingly.

When looking for an apprenticeship program, the big decision every aspiring electrician faces is whether to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and become part of the long-standing tradition of unionized tradesmen, or to try to find a non-union shop looking to take on a trainee.

Louisiana Opportunities in:

Alexandria Electrical JATC
Baton Rouge Area Electrical JATC in Baton Rouge
Bogalusa Electrical JATC in New Orleans
Lake Charles Elec. JATC
Monroe Electrical JATC
New Orleans Electrical JATC in Metairie
Shreveport Area Electrical JATC in Bossier City

Sorry Louisiana is a shithole so I'll either do Houston or Austin. I want to get as far away from the EX as possible. My child is almost grown so if She wants to see Me when She gets older then that's fine but I won't be coming back to this state when I leave.

justifying stuff by blaming hormones, feels etc etc..

''i got angry and killed him your honor and those other 50 as well..''

''i didn,t mean to have kiddystuff on my computer but the feels i have...''

''didn,t mean to rape her your honor but you know testosteron, we are coming from cavemen right??''

sugercoat or bare with me all you want, she took his money.
she could have said something she could have done anything she could divorced him years ago.. but no she decided that she gots to get paid and took him to the cleaners..

and let her holes be filled and be all the whore she can be.
typical story that are dime a dozen(must just be accidental right?)

typical BS cop-outs to justify the shitwhatever..
