Whoever you call to delay-pause bills, be sure to state "I have lost income due to coronavirus" .. magic words to kick in program. IF not mentioned, then it is approached as normal loss of income.

Dollar General and Amazon are hiring.

The thing about unemployment is you don't have to accept any job that pays less than you were making. Not sure, but you may be able to draw unemployment and get a cheaper part time job to make up any difference? Doesn't hurt to ask.

Are they within walking distance? I only need about 600 to get My car working but I haven't been able to come up with it when everything I made went to bills.

Guess you now but having a reliable vehicle is top priority. Maybe barter with someone to fix your vehicle.

What is wrong with the car? If the repair is only $600 it sounds like an easy fix.

It's a 2006 ford mustang and they had a manufacturers defect where water leaked inside the dash and it ruined the antitheft unit. I found the unit online for about 455 dollars and it should cost Me around 150 for so to get it reprogrammed for the vehicle VIN number. I had two of these models and both of them had the same problem so its something I can fix easily if I find someone to program it.

That antitheft stuff is bullshit. Sell the mustang, get a a focus. I bought the ex a 2003 focus in 2009 for 2K, she still has it, now over 300k. Original timing belt, only problems have been multiple wheel bearing replacements, but those are easy.

It has nothing to do with Trump. We have a democratic governor whom shut down the whole state and put a limit of 10 people per job site so no offshore vessels can go offshore since they regularly have 50 people or more. This governor started suing the offshore oil companies the minute He got elected so He has a serious axe to grind with the oil industry. This right here is the difference between a liberal and a conservative a conservative will actually allow people to have a differing opinion where as a liberal will punish You for it and not give a flying fuck if children lose their homes or go hungry as a result of their actions. Hell at least they give advice though in that they tell us to learn to code.

I am not concerned with keeping up with the jones's and never had been. It was the EX whom liked to flash around money and spend it like a drunken sailor. As far as Me if I have a decent computer I'm happy as long as I'm working and My car runs good.

You might even get a couple of hotties to rent a room from you!

One of them might even know how to cook and clean for you!

It seems this would work out great for someone who is often gone, as you would have caretakers for your home.

Or, perhaps the oil industry will fade, and another gig will show.

Re: Just got laid off
You are very welcome. I don’t know exactly the years, but I’ll ask my husband. He is the genius with all that technical stuff. He loves it!

By the way, please don’t ever let your mind drift off to thinking about giving up. Life is hard at times. Money will come and go. Your circumstances down define you. You and your character define you. Don’t be so hard on yourself either. Actually, be proud of yourself for the good choices you’ve made and decide now to keep making more good choices going forward. Life is crazy at times. You are definitely alive and kickin for a reason. Our son died while serving overseas in the military a few years ago. It’s been hard at times to keep going without feeling sorry for all we coulda shoulda woulda and the future with him we are missing out on. With that said, our faith in God has kept us not only alive, but also well and even happy again.

You are going to do well. You will be great! You’ll see. You’ve got this!!

********************************************************************************

So very sorry for the loss of your son, but what a kindhearted response to your fellow man’s plight! Love this: Your circumstances don’t define you”. Hope OP takes that to heart.hf

Sorry about your situation, keep hope, it will change.

Also, as a woman let me warn you about jobs that separate husbands and wives for long months at a time and I'm trying to not go off color here so bare with me.

Males go through a natural hormone time where any hole is a need to be filled. Might be the nicest, loyal guy out there, but often it's just a hormone drive to procreate and sometimes alcohol can make self control even harder.

Now, with women. Unless we have and like ,"toys" to enjoy we also get hormone driven.
We are the black holes in the universe and need a mate.
We also often need a man's attention as we are more an emotional creature.
Being told," you're pretty today" or "you look sexy" goes a looking way with women.

You're long absence was something she just couldn't handle as well as other women who can stay alone for a much longer duration.

All income aside, the big house, women like those things but her little, hormone voice kept telling her how lonely she was, how you left her as a single deserted mother and disappeared for over a year.

Hormones never make sense, they are only chemical.

Next time you begin a relationship try one where your home every night.

Something to think about is that things/stuff don't really matter in the end. Nobody on their deathbed ever said, "Take good care of my Harley."

If a person is deeply depressed or facing terminal illness, they have less concern about "things". If a person is in good health then that is most important.

If it looks like you are facing a major loss then my advice would be to take some of your most prized possessions over to a trusted family member or very close friend's place for safekeeping. Avoid the consumerist lifestyle and live each day as an end in itself. Just remember that people have lost their homes to fires and tornadoes. So you are in a lot of ways in a better position than those people.

Goodluck.

I haven't slept with anyone else in 18 years so I was very good with ignoring those hormones. My father was a dead beat dad whom abandoned My brother and I at a real young age so it really hurt us a lot and that's the last thing I wanted for My daughter. As per Your advice I don't want to work offshore anymore and lets just say money never made Me happy so going away isn't an option.
