IDK. I'm thinking not. People in New York if they are woke and they can are getting the fuck out. Same with California.

This is not a Democrat/Republican thing. This is what this fear agenda has set in motion.

Your freedom to move about freely has been seriously compromised and it may likely get worse.

This is beyond food and toilet paper. There is a feeling of dread that looms over the collective.

Every day pre pandemic the USA had 7,800 people die of various causes. We are now shut down with a trashed economy for and additional 200 deaths per day? Doesn’t make sense and I believe that yes this virus is real but why are all countries reacting so differently to this one compared to H1N1 and SARS? Things just don’t add up!

I've been looking for something big to turn everything upside down for several years.... but figured we had until November and maybe could have one last, fun summer.

My life is not the same.

Already cancelled two fun trips - one with the grandkids and one with my sister.

Still hoping to make the yearly beach vacation this summer with all the kids and grandkids. fingers crossed.

Haven't seen my kids or grandkids in about 2 weeks and I hate it.

I'm surburbian small TX town.
No kids.
Husband still working in essential manufacturing, got his travel letter.

Not much has changed except he's not stopping by stores so much on his way home.

I'm a homebody so I'm OK with it.
People rarely come by before lockdown so no visitors is normal too.

I'm kind of a germaphobe and if I had kids and family running in and out, I'd be loosing it.

Wish husband could stay home but my gut tells me, eventually everyone's going to graduate to full blown Wuhan quarteen.

Too many spreaders still about.

Checking in from South America and things are decidedly abnormal. They not only shut down all the borders (land, sea and air) but they shut down all domestic flights as well, all buses, the metro... no one is on the road. Going out will subject you to police on a power trip questioning your motives (one person per family is allowed out and only to buy food, only for a few hours and only certain days per week).

The business world has changed too. Everyone is doing zoom meetings now and they’re all home so you get to see them in their home attire with their living room as their background. Weird.

Here’s the kicker - everyone that I talk to says that they’re tired. Clients, family, coworkers, doesn’t matter, everybody is tired. I guess it’s from being locked inside, with no sun?
Like I told my ex-wife, I said: honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it’s all in the reflexes…

Re: Is anyones life normal right now?
Absolutely not.

I've been living under a lockdown for 2 weeks already and it's absolutely suffocating. Apart from going to supermarkets (which, strangely enough, have very little people in them) and walking my dogs, there's fuck all that can be done.

f.e. You can go jogging, walking, bike riding in this shithole, but using your motorcycle to go for a ride would cost you $350 in fines if they catch you. Sitting outside on a bench or in the grass (no matter if no-one is around) is forbidden.

I took my mother to the university hospital today for an MRI after a traumatic brain injury. We went fully dressed with masks, glasses and gloves. But here's the kicker: 80% of the staff and more than half of the visitors didn't wear any protection.

This fucking psychotic madness is nauseating. Idiotic nonsensical rules are being enforced, whereas truly necessary measures are being completely neglected.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78685480

Only 2 days here and it's pissing me off. No going outside n cops everywhere with big sticks ready to beat you if you don't have a good reason, armed police everywhere etc.

I had to go collect a prescription from Kathmandu yesterday and i got stopped over 20 times! 3 times on the same traffic island when each time they were watching me at the last ffs lol. No outside house rule here and if your job is not on a govt list you are banned, as is all vehicle use etc. We can go out for vital supplies but only to the nearest shop but 99% are shut anyway.

Yes , not a thing has changed besides Not finding what I wanted at the grocery store because I now shop at a small discount grocery (w/o a pharmacy) ...I wont go in a grocery store with a pharmacy at this time ...
This is part of My strategy ...
I was already just going to work and home ... I'm in a rebuild stage of My life so I don't do anything socially right now ...
Seems like the thought of perishing has made Me realize how lonely I am ...

8 months pregnant, not going to be going to hospital or birthing clinic unless there is an emergency- now going to use midwives. Most family lives locally, but none have been in my house in nearly 2 months- nor have friends. I go nowhere but my backyard. Husband always worked mostly from home- his business is down 30%. Does that sound normal.

Re: Is anyones life normal right now?
Nothing normal about it.

I still have my job, thank God, but am doing it from home now... which has its plusses and minuses.

My girlfriend, just today, was stopped by a cop walking down the sidewalk to the park with her 2 yr old daughter... he told her to go home, and that they were only allowed to be out if going to get food or for medical.

She was near her car and he even took her plate number down... she lives 30 miles away and is now afraid to drive.

I am seriously beginning to really believe that now. I didn't at first when people first started dying from Covid-19 in China.

This whole Covid-19 thing is one BIG planned OPERATION.....there cannot be any other explanation.

Just about the WHOLE planet is being affected to varying degrees and in many similar and/or different ways...eg: economies & freedom of movement.

The DOOM is real.....but where does this all end?????

We are a blended family of 7. He has 3 and I have 2. Everyone is home from school.

I went grocery shopping and had to put back half my groceries because they would only let me buy one loaf of bread. One loaf of bread doesn't feed 7 people.

Not sure what the point of stay at home is if I have to go grocery shopping daily in order to buy food because i'm not allowed to buy what I actually need and wont hoard. *shrug*

Re: Is anyones life normal right now?
Not too different here. We grow most of our own food anyway and get stuff like TP on autoship, so no change in supplies. I had to self quarantine due to an exposure but didn't get sick and Friday I'm clear to go back to work (healthcare). Kids are all home from school but we homeschooled until college anyway so that is kind of a normal. I actually enjoy my kids and think they are cool people, so it's great having them around, plus help with the garden and farm chores is nice.
The only real downside is my youngest tearfully begged me to stop working because I am their only parent and she is terrified I will get sick and die.
Taking my vitamin C and D, making sure to get a little fresh air and sunshine daily and washing my hands. Staying out of the stores, but that has been a goal for a long time. I hate shopping anyway.

Nope. All my classes have been cancelled; gyms closed, can't shop to kill time at a non food or hardware place. Most of my friends are paranoid about getting together. Ridiculous.

Globalist owned TV News is their God & Bible !! If they plug their ears at words of truth? It’s horrible to witness & the consequences impact us all. Friends are not gathering, people are losing there jobs... Over a Coronavirus! It’s truly shocking ! Ummm ... Critical thinking anyone? How many will die with poverty rampant, looting in the streets, food shortages created, lost insurance & unemployment without even considering the Globalist’s added Agendas?? This is truly unbelievable to witness. Hey Trump just recently signed “Secure 5G & Beyond Act 2020!” ~ Starve cells of oxygen?? Create symptoms of severe Lung illness?
