A recent Johns Hopkins study claims more than 250,000 people in the U.S. die every year from medical errors. Other reports claim the numbers to be as high as 440,000. Medical errors are the third-leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer.
250,000-440,000 per year comes to 685 to 1205 daily
685 to 1205 Deaths a "Day" from Medical Errors alone
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9075901 So lets do nothing then, let it run wild, in the US right now the infected are doubling every 3 days. so that in 12 weeks 258 Million of us will be infected 15% of that number will need hospital care but won't get it, most will die in that 15% bracket. Happening in Italy RIGHT NOW. We end up with 25 to 30 million dead, so is that an ok number to you? All in a 12 to 16 weeks if we don't reduce the spread of this virus.
