I'm a serial dater because todays women are just bleh. I would like to find a great one some day and I think this "crisis" is going to make the ladies appreciate what us men do and us men appreciate what the women do. A unstoppable team can get through anything but they both must be LOYAL AF!

Dating was hard enough to get used to after my first divorce, this time I'm just not even interested in trying. If someone comes along that I click with...fine...maybe that's just me being jaded

Pretty much giving up. Right now with this shit going on my mind is in survival mode. Trying to stay on top of everything going on so I can make decisions accordingly that would be best for the family and my dogs.

Good on ya! My ex used to give me so much crap about prepping but she recently told me that she was wrong, was glad that I did & glad that our Son lives with me because she knew that she didn't need to worry about him.

The right somebody, sure but this is the wrong situation to evaluate someone. How people react when things are goin good is one thing...people in a panic will do &/or say things that a week ago they never would have imagined.

It would and wouldn't. I haven't for 5 years and am too accustomed to doing what I want when I want. With this virus crap, it would introduce differences in viewpoints that may hinder survival of both. It also introduces another vector to catch it but that is not a real problem as we all get this sooner or later. Also, if a partner is taken by this, that is another stress on you on top of everything else.

Easier without. Will leave dating to the survivors who rebuild.

If this were to get worse my dating criteria would be more rigorous.. he would have to be able to do everything I already do for myself:hunt, fish, firewood, supplies run, be vigilant, must hold to the same survival regime I have. That’s awesome! I just find it comical how many women are not prepared and now will have to rely on her own feminine wiles to see if she can’t get something from someone. I suppose I’ve always been one to fend for myself and highly independent (which explains why I am still single - not many men are keen on a woman having her own stash of arsenal and knowledge of how to hunt and fish and all that.) it is what it is but I won’t have to worry about my knees being so raw and dirty. Yes dating is a lot of work. I won’t settle just to be settling. That’s what many people are doing these days and it’s sad.
