That view is subjective in hindsight. If one of the laid off employees with a grudge comes back and kills you, you may actually not live to see another day.

How many of these people depended on that job? How many of them have families to support? How many lived paycheck to paycheck? Regardless if that particular state puts a stay order on evictions for several months, they're still not going to be able to afford the other essential bills, and that alleged check from the Government isn't coming for at least 1.5 - 2 months, which in itself won't cover much. People are about to absolutely lose their minds, and when that happens, things become dangerous. All I can say is we always treated our employees well. I can't predict what they will do.
