OP, you mistakenly assume EVERYONE will get a $1,200 check.
NOT TRUE.
There is a threshold in which those above a certain income will get nothing, and it’s a low threshold. I last heard it was $75,000.
That counts ME out.
I’d gladly take the $1,200 but I won’t be getting any.

I realize I'm fortunate to still have my salaried job … but it irritates me that the married couple w kids making 198k gets 2400 to my 1200.
