Do you wear any PPE when you go out? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78053027 Canada 03/26/2020 01:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 3m respirator, nitrile gloves, shooting glasses, hoodie pulled up over head. I go out once a week to get fresh produce and stock up stuff for the house, avoid anything crowded, just a couple shops I know have only a few people at a time in them right when they open, then right back home. Quoting: Brian Moran The people there know me, I've been dropping bank at those stores every week for years. Don't care what people think, I just don't want to bring anything back to my kids. Drop all that stuff in the garage, right in the washer, get right in the shower then change. Only once a week so it's not that big of a pain. I'll do this for the duration of this thing, every time. Kids are off school for the duration, they are only allowed to leave the house to the back yard, fenced in. Wife works from home now as of tomorrow, we're bugged in other than that one trip per week. Good luck GLP, glad to see so many taking precautions even though many hoax tards are here, at least there's more people with sense than I thought in this thread, makes me feel better about the folks here, they're not all literally retarded. What precautions did you take during the swine flu when 20K died? How about every flu season when 30-50K people die? Do you drive on the road? over 1,000,000 die worldwide every year in car accidents! LET'S GO BUY TOILET PAPER!1!! 1! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I dont recall line ups for triage or drive up assessments for the flu. Military doesnt get called up for flu either. |

But that's what I've always done because I have a screwed up immune system. Quoting: Southern Deplorable ^^^ This ^^^. I’m also someone with immune system issues, but unless you have a sweaty feverish cougher 6” from you breathing and coughing/ sneezing on you.....honestly you’ll probably not have any issues. Just my opinion as I’m not a doctor or anything but between the cash we carry , the packages and mail we get and the rest of the surfaces we come into contact with daily, It’s probably just a matter of time before we are all exposed anyway. Especially considering that most of the world’s leaders have it Last Edited by Patriot_In_Waiting on 03/26/2020 01:48 AM Patriot_In_Waiting My name is patriot_in_waiting and I'm a GLPTARD If we get caught.....I'm deaf, and you don't speak English |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78244389 I wear prescription Wiley X Tactical Black Ops Gravity safety glasses...if germs fly on your eye, you're infected. SCHWINNGGGG! This is another thing that people like to not believe. Your eyes gotta be airtight sealed away from the ambient atmosphere. Just as much as a mask is needed over your nose and mouth, airtight eye protection is also needed. I notice medical personell, in some photos, aren't using airtight sealed eye protection. It's not enough to wear safety glasses like you'd wear in wood shop, or running the lathe or mill in a metal shop. You need eye protection that seals your eyes away from the outside world, airtight. Wake up Sheep! :biohaz: :SHEEPPENS: :PACOLA: :DOCSRBAFFLED::redblueLED::DONTBEAPANDEMICS: Only you can stop the fake pandemic for yourself, no one will ever tell you the pandemic is over. User ID: 78450809 United States 03/26/2020 02:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Today at the market the checker was wearing gloves and they were so disgustingly dirty. The irony is when I watched her touch her face. Some people just don’t get it and make themselves more exposed by their own doing, If people would stay home and practice social distancing you wouldn’t need to be garbed. Many people are going to get this, 80% will be mild to moderate symptoms. You don’t need a mask unless you are sick or someone is immune compromised. Last I calculated New York is at a 1% death rate but many are being tested. Louisiana headed to 4%. California about 2%. I believe more people than we know have had it. I have read excerpts that have cared for those dying. The death sounds ugly. I do understand the need to control it on the hospital system. I know just how fragile it is. Supply chain is backlogged and will eventually become unsafe if it hasn’t already in some areas. Healthcare professionals need the PPE not you garbed up nuts that are probably infecting yourself more than you know. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78658278 I don't go out much, I do have a spray bottle of isopropyl alcohol in the car. The washing of the face every time you wash your hands is brilliant, yet common sense. Your grandparents taught you well. If you wanna do the face washing be sure to have washed the hands for 30 seconds at least, THEN you can start washing your face. Else you going to get the shit from the hands in your eyes and mouth and you're foooked. AltSwede |
