You need to chill out. You have that many cases because they are just getting the tests. This will end. We just have to slow the rate of infection to not overload the hospitals. In a month or two things will go back to normal.

In all of those things, what came after was very different than what was before.

There was a new normal. There will be a new 'normal' again. But it will not be, and never will be, like the 'old' normal.

I can't shake the feeling of pending DOOM. I'm not really worried about getting sick or dying...my kids are young and healthy and my wife and I are fairly healthy and young enough (<50) not to be too worried about getting real sick. I'm more worried about how this is affecting society in general...and this has the potential to totally destroy the economy and our civilization...that's what's the scary part...the last straw.
