If Andrew Yang would have gotten his Freedom Dividend, Universal Basic Income, every American Citizen would receive $1000 per month...wait for it... FOREVER, no matter if you earn over $75,000 or earn $0.

The only downside at all to his Freedom Dividend is what amounts to something similar to a 10% sales tax (actually a VAT) that isn't even placed on things like food, personal healthcare products, or cleaning supplies. But, since people would receive $12,000 per year, only those that spend over $120,000 per year on non-essential items would really end up paying into it.

Yang's Freedom Dividend would make sure the economy remains stable for everyone no matter what turmoil comes our way. Mostly, because people would spend that money in businesses!
