More than 60pct of what I earn gets gobbled up in taxes - from the feds to the state to the gas to phone tax property tax, tax on my vehicles - hell, nearly 10pct sales tax.

There is no point letting old people die. They have wisdom and knowledge that are very useful to society. It's a wholly different case with people of breeding age, it is very good for the gene pool to weed out the weak.

Since we're on the subject of who lives and who dies in order to save society, what about snowflakes or the disabled, or people who won't work or fill in the blank _______? It's a slippery slope.Once people agree it's okay to allow one group to die, it becomes much easier to decide which group is next.

The problem with that is today it is the elderly 60 plus. But tomorrow the elderly will be 50, and then 40. If you are willing to do away with one group, then why not others? Blacks? Mexicans? Whites? It's not for us to decide who dies and who lives. Civilized societies do not do that. We aren't Nazis.

Even if the kill rate were 20% o cannot for a moment fathom the response we've had these last few weeks.

Quarantine the old and otherwise vulnerable and let the rest of us get the hell back to work.

I used to think no fuckin way in hell Americans would go along w/ that. I stand corrected now. This is what Hitler started w/ far as extermination on mass scale. Yes - you can't collapse society because some elderly and unfit might pop their clogs. Hell half the elderly in care homes should be put down as it is - they are not enjoying life and would welcome a quick and dignified exit and if they are not competent to make a decision one should be made for them.

The body is just a vehicle for the spirit when it wears out time to let it go and move on.

PS - I'm pretty old myself and last thing I want is too hang around in a body that has had it, being propped up at exorbitant expense and being a general nuisance to everyone around me.
