The burden of old people on society, in man hours or wealth consumed is meaningless. Only lazy, selfish, self centered, and ignorant youngsters would think sacrificing the elderly will make anything better for them. Yea, maybe for a couple a years they could get some nice housing for cheap, but that would change very quickly.
