I'm just over 60, had a rough life, lots of injuries now arthritis and more.
Very few days I feel good anymore.

If the new generations want old folks to die off then they need to legalize assisted euthenasia first.

I'd love to pick a certain day, do my bucket list the weeks before, say farewell to all my friends & family then have a last "birthday/deathday" party and go to my rewards out on some nice gentle fall asleep drugs.

I worked in a retirement home before and most deaths were sad and lonely. No family, no last fun.

I'd much rather leave on my own schedule and as a matter of fact, I probably will choose a day to depart on my own terms but assisted would make me much happier. Wouldn't want to botch it up and be a drooling vegetable on top of what I deal with now and as I age.
