Are "Disabled" People Getting More Free Money?

As a disabled person myself, I often marvel that so many people are so utterly jealous of disabled people.

This is NOT a life I would live, given any real chance to have a normal life.

One of the worst things about being disabled, is not only the inability to live a normal life, and to have a chance at climbing out of poverty, but it's watching all the shitbags on forums like this, railing against disabled people.

Most of these assholes would drive a disabled person (with a whip) to crawl on their hands and knees and beg for a chance to make minimum wage, scrubbing toilets, if only they could.

They have a hatred of disabled people, as if being disabled didn't already SUCK enough, without all this hostility from self-righteous assholes directed at them.

If you think living on sub-poverty income, and having a LIFELONG social-distancing NON-LIFE is enviable, then you have even bigger problems than the people that you despise.

My neighbor gets $1900 a month $400 in food stamp and Medicare. He got a check for $48k last month for back payments he missed while sueing for it.
He has been in and out of jail most his life because of drugs. So much so the reason he gets said money is from PTSD.
PTSD he picked up from being in jail.
Who says crime doesn't pay?

For a family or just himself? What state is he in, it sure isn't that much everywhere.

poor bastard wasted 2-3 years proving to the system that they are disabled, in a system that they worked and paid into. also, there is no suing. a federal judge approved their claim and therefore they were owed for previous months of their disability insurance claim

you should foia their ssdi court documents and hearing audio before being so judgmental

there are fkers that abuse the system, but by your comment, it doesn't seem like that is one of them.

Why would they get any more additional financial help than they already do?

They haven't lost their income, like those unemployed due to the virus?

i know three truly dissabled people who have not been approved and i know one disabled person abused by local sii office.

I don't believe this ^^^ for a second.

People who've been in and out of jail (and on drugs) most of their life, no WAY, earned enough to get $1,900 a month disability.

And the cap on single people getting food stamps is less than $200. And single people getting $1,900 a month are not even close to ELIGIBLE for food stamps whatsoever. People getting $1,500 are not even eligible.

This is just another disability-hating made up post, designed to generate more hatred toward the disabled.

The Facts On This Subject..

I got many family members, neighbors, and many others I've met over the years that draw SSI...I'm not talking about people on SSD, retired, or vet..NOPE, I'm talking about these lazy ass, I had a wreck when I was a kid that messed me up, slow learners, special ed, but mainly LAZY ass people that claim something like the things I mentioned because they're so much easier to fake....This is why they're on SSI because that check is what they give people that never held a job, or worked because of some brain problem...

Now if someones on Social Security Disability, well that's a lot different because hey, that's a hard check to get, and they make you prove it with facts, and doctors stating you are 100%% disabled..I just watched my brother-n-law go through it..He has MS, can't hardly walk, busted back, and he's a diabetic,they fought him for 2 years, and he finally got it started last month..He worked since he was 12 years old, and for a company 23 years he never missed a day of work until he got so bad with ms he couldn't get out of his truck...

But, to your question..Unfortunately YES,, they are getting a check....But hey, it's 1 time, and they'll have it blowed in 1-2 days,, and they won't be any more freebies like it for them..

I'm just glad to know I have my health, and have the ability to double or triple that $1,200 they're getting if I want in a week...

You gotta love America, because only in this country can the lazy have an apt, car, flat screen, ps4, and many other things while the guy across the hall living in the same apt building is having to get up at 5:00 am every morning, go to work, kill himself, and still doesn't have half of what laid up lazy ass on SSI has...It's true!!

If Frankie qualifies for it, I say hell yes.

When Clinton ended welfare they just transferred it all to “disabled” . Much easier to stand up for “disabled” people than welfare people. It is the biggest scam going.
