Wrong! The state should not be locked down nor non essential business closed. People get the flu and life goes on. This is a cover for the criminals in Washington to loot. As for Tampax, it’s always been a shithole of pussies.

The blowback from telling people NOT to do it..is like telling your teenager not to do something which makes them want to do it anyway just to be rebellious.

This will not turn out well IMO.

To take these types of measures only means to me that they know something we don't.
Either they are fudging the #'s or blatently lying to the public which is something we the people will never truly know. They are in control.

How do we override what they have in mind? By the time we vote it may be too late?

To the guy that says this is not needed, I'll share with you what you should know.

IN Florida this time next weekend we'll have over 11k cases. They know this and need to shut it down now. If you live in this area I would suggest getting bottled water. Most don't know this but the sewage in SW FL has overrun a few times and I would not trust tap water in a crisis like this. Boil it if you have to.

I read an article earlier that Gov Ivey in Alabama is thinking about enforcing some very strict rules, and one of them was 10:00 pm curfews..It got me to thinking that through all of this we may be just giving up our freedoms, and constitutional rights a little too easy....

It feels like all of this is some kind of test..I'm not being conspiracy minded over the virus by saying that, no the virus unfortunately is a real threat, but I'm saying that at some point someone might need to say very loudly to our governors, and mayors " hold on" you're going too far!!

I don't know if it's only here in Hillsbrough however my hubby has noticed a distinct chlorinated smell from the water lately. My smell is not as good as it used to be but he says it's rank with chlorine. Have they upped the dose in the treatment plant to kill pathogens?

I run ours thru an AlexaPure before use. May start boiling as well. Nothing in the news states to do that but would they really tell us?

I live in a smaller Texas town, to keep mostly youth off the streets and to curb crime we've had a 11pm to 6am curfew for youth some years now.

It has worked very well to fight crime.
Soon, they will extend it to all age groups but it's a good thing really, no one needs to be out running the streets at night.

It's math buddy, last week I predicted exactly 2500 cases by Friday here. We're overshooting that, we'll likely have 2800-3000 at this rate. Possibly and hopefully not higher by Friday. And next week if you multiply the rate of growth in cases by the medina growth average you get about [infected cases today] x ( 1 today + .3 percentage growth ) ( I believe the avg is .33 worldwide, I always shoot under that. ) = tomorrow's rough estimate. In general this averages out of over a few days so your prediction might be wrong 1 day to the next but over 4-5 days its pretty accurate.

This is the expected rate increase since you think I pull shit out my ass ;) Where did that phrase ever come from Magicians with Rabbits?...

Thursday 11:30am ( they release numbers in halfway portions in FL ) - 2100 cases
Thursday at 8pm 2570 cases

Friday 11:30am 2700-2800 cases
Friday 8pm 3000-3300 cases

Saturday AM - 3700-4000 cases
Saturday PM - 4000-4500 cases

Sunday AM - 4500-5000 Cases
Sunday PM - 5-5500 Cases.

At this rate, if you continue it on you can assume that it will be lower as social distancing works but even with it even when things get shut down I expect the numbers to go to 10k+ cases by next weekend. So no I hope the math is wrong but it was right so far since last week.

I’ve been watching most all of DeSantis’ press conferences & disagree IRT Florida leadership. I wish he would have shut down flights from NYC region a little earlier, but that’s it.

Everybody crowded onto Bayshore Blvd to run/blade/ride this weekend, including stopping to wait in line for the workout stations.

Tampa style to come out of the closet?

I don't even want to go to the supermarket. I am losing weight already due to this crisis. The last time I went to a restaurant was over 9 days ago right before the shut down started.

I don't live there. I wouldn't live there. I'm in Ocala.

Going to start listening to Broadcastify for Tampa more often now and see if I can pick up any additional info from that.

Sometimes the squelch gets on my last nerves but it's probably worth a listen :)

Go to Tarpon Springs after this and go to the little greek village and support the small businesses after this crisis. They will need it.
