And I live in the Tampa burbs & totally disagree with you. My family has lived all over the country, fwiw. Locals don’t really go to StPete/C’water to experience the beach anyways. We clearly live & utilize very different parts of the city.

Why be nasty about the state you live in Florida is gorgeous unless you want to tell everyone it sucks so they don’t visit after haha. Good strategy, and I have lived in 4 different states visited dozens this place has a ton to offer and people are genuinely nicer than most other parts of the country.

So if you don’t like it move is all I can say it changes your opinion about things for sure.

Governors cannot shut down flights, that is Interstate Commerce, a federal issue. We are preparing for it, but that requires a federal order.

Im in Osceola (kissimmee) we already under curfew and stay at home... i work 3rd and have seen 1 fucking cop all week so they aren't really enforcing or checking anything.

The problem with that is what we've been seeing, and why it is spreading like it is. In our case, Atlanta residents are worried that they will catch it if they go out (shopping or whatever) in their own areas since they have significant numbers of cases. So where are they driving? To the areas without cases! Not only are they risking others' lives by doing this, but they are emptying out our stores so locals don't have goods.

I'm in Broward. We have 504 cases in my county. All that's in place is, non essential business closed, restaurants are take out or delivery only. There still is no shelter in place like Miami has done. There's no curfew either. I think by this weekend our county will mandate a shelter in place and curfew.

Your time is likely better spent calling Mayor, Commissioners & local TV plus harassing them in social media. State is too far removed.

Our Georgia governor is still trying to decide whether to reopen schools next week and is having a town meeting to discuss it tonight. Um...1500 cases, 500 are in the hospital, 50 dead. That question shouldn't even be on the table!

You can fly anywhere you want domestically, cancun, etc it is unbelievable. But you can't go to a movie or restaurant. The paradox is bewildering.

Question: How many people did the CDC test for the flu to get their stats on flu deaths?
I know in the biggest year they only tested a little over 300 people, yet they claimed flu killed over 80,000 that year.

Lesson: Research how viruses spread and how this one in particular multiplies and never trust the WHO/CDC because they have their own agendas.
