I spent about 1,000 in preparations due to this bullshit. So a portion will go to pay for that and the rest will go into savings so that my wife and I can have 3 months of savings in case something happens.

One thing that I loved though is that I have been wanting to expand my garden for years. And with this scare I was able to talk to my wife into tripling our garden area.

Booyeah... I am going to be enjoying tons of tomatoes and bell peppers this season and hopefully my peach trees will produce a ton of peaches this year. I am so looking forward to biting into a nice juicy peach this year. <---- Best fruit ever.

I will need it by about April 15.
I have filed for unemployment, but that system is overwhelmed, so it may take a month.

I need that money before the middle of May.
I am quite honestly not counting on it as they keep dicking around about it.
I will withdraw money I have in an old 401k, pay tax on that when it's paid out,
and if the government check ever decides to show up, I'll bank it. Or get caught up on anything if I get behind.

Now, that said, they screwed us.
Originally they were talking about two checks, the first by April 6. That's never gonna happen. Pelosi and Schumer got involved and turned it into a cluster and we get one check and God only knows when that will be. And then consider the fact that the economic disaster is going to take longer than two months to get over.

I'm not counting any eggs before they hatch with that old drunk ass hen Pelosi running the roost.

I also heard that the payments for children don't count unless they are under 17, but I've not seen anything about an age limit on children. So I'm not even considering that part of it.
