Public officials and media figures are proven, untrustworthy liars and half-truth tellers… There should be a penalty for lying to and deceiving the public… None of this we know better than you bullshit or it's legal to lie laws… F*ck god damn National Security secrecy crap, legalized propaganda and psy-ops against Americans… This is the cloak under which greedy, power hungry, murderous villains and thieves hide under and make secret plans and agreements… If Trump really wants to solve this crisis and others unforeseen... If he wants to be a real hero, he should should go old school and use his tyrannical powers to sign an Executive Order demanding a televised cutting out of the tongue of any U.S. government office holder or official, intelligence agency member, and any T.V. or radio media personality and their sources, having an audience of 10 people or more, who is caught knowingly telling lies or half-truths in regards to any aspect of the damn virus crisis or any other crisis in the news. If they only tweeted their lies, they can keep their tongue, but their twitter thumbs would have to go. It is all very old testament Biblical and the American public would love it. I would actually have a little respect for Trump if he did sign and enforced such an order. I would have even more respect for him if he signed it and then cut out his own tongue and thumbs on live T.V. and while making a bloody, thumbless O.K hand sign, he declared… “Thass ohhdah ass mackking Ammaykah gait agging!”   It could make for great T.V.... To qualify as an official tongue cutter, you would have to be a mother who lost her kid in a banker’s war… She would be permitted to do a bit of a jig and play a tune, appropriate to the occasion, before and during the act, you know, like in ‘Reservoir Dogs’, but not with the ear… [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] They could put in on prime time and the ratings would be great… The public could even vote on the choice of music based on who the public figure was… Great T.V. but for after the kids go to bed! |

Here's a better idea that is more in keeping with an advanced civilization below as follows: Every politician must put up a bond of a sizable insured amount (bond) if their campaign "promises" don't come true. Then the said politician, that lies to get elected, must be ostracized out of the country and politics for 10 years... like they did in the old days under the Athenian democracy.
