It would be a LOT MORE believable if the number "6" was not used.

The other thing is that it’s hard to predict the death number and when it doubles, you can predict x will get infected but when they die is out the window. As a whole, only a very very small fraction of people have died or recovered so far. Recovery isn’t fast and they take up space in hospitals for long periods. Once the hospitals max out, things will get real bad. the hospitals in northern italy have been running way over capacity for a while now. same in spain. if you look at the chart of deaths, and click on the logarithmic version, you'll see the straight upward line, which shows that this is exponential growth. i didn't make up the numbers or the dates people are dying. i'm just pointing out the way it's currently heading. I agree, I’m just saying that number could skyrocket at any moment, 2 days, 6, etc. I think overall the percentage won’t change much in the end, but who knows if social distancing doesn’t work and hospitals go to shit.
