People don’t seem to understand the fact that deaths lag behind the infection numbers,. That’s why the US mortality rate looks so low. People that are dying now would have been infected a couple of weeks ago. You don’t just catch it and die immediately. You spend a couple of weeks on a ventilator. The deaths will keep ramping up. The US is still weeks behind Europe, so don’t let the relatively low deaths fool you.
