Wakes up at 8am and is doing online school stuff until noon and then he has chores to do. If it’s nice outside, I have him go outside and do some work/play and then he’s free until dinner and then he dries dishes and I wash. He has to read a book for at least 20 minutes everyday and yes a book not an ebook an actual book. But it’s nice that I can work with him showing him how to do stuff. Tomorrow we start our plants on the inside to plant later on outside and then we rock paint too. I paint rocks, pray over them and then hide them. The fb page is [link to www.facebook.com (secure)] So that is me and the kid’s day in a nutshell I also just bought a camper that I’m getting ready to refurbish it. This keeps us busy and out of trouble and away from people. Other than no school, nothing in my life has really changed Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. NO! My name is NOT spelled wrong. Grab a dictionary. Peace, Love & Prayers God bless America And YES. I am a nurse! SIDE NOTE- I find articles everywhere and post what I think GLP would like to know. I do not necessarily believe or endorse some articles I find. So do not bash the messenger |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78032996 United States 03/29/2020 07:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No, more worried. The wife and I are (thankfully) both working from home, so don't have time to monitor my 13yo son. He hated school, so this is like summer for him. We can't force him to go outside and play, or keep up his studies while we work. Quoting: Writemeaticket Red WTF? Dinner is served after he has completed his studies. No study, no eat. It's pretty simple. This dad is using work as an excuse to be a shit parent. He doesn't give a fuck about his kid. He said it himself, the kid hates school. I'd give him chores to do. But dad is too busy to enforce responsibility. |
