Fear is the Mind Killer - Your suggestions for CONTROLLING & STOPPING FEAR

If you have any suggestions about controlling or overcoming Fear at this time, I'm sure we'd all welcome them.

Use pure logic instead of emotions.

You can CHOOSE whether you use logic or emotionn.

Emotion is for retards when shit is hitting fans.

I think a big problem here is that with this virus scam they are preventing us from joining with and connecting with each other so we really have to start defying that. People have to start joining with other people, whether in religious or social groups to comfort, console, have fun with, OR PLAN with...other people. We need to do this to survive.

Part of the deviltry of what they've created is that it's inherently designed to KEEP US APART.

Thank you for participating, what you say is very important. I hope others participate too - give their suggestions because while I am not an FDR fan...he was right in this:

"The only thing we have to fear...is fear itself".

And we have to stop fearing EVERYTHING.

I would ask each of you to think about how you would advise and help the people around you. How you can build stronger, healthier groups that are independent and able to fight back if necessary. Start thinking about what is needed, what you know that you can pass on, especially to younger people.

If you have land, maybe you can share with others to build gardens, maybe you can give your knowledge of sewing or plumbing or car mechanics or other things to keep us going. Don't think what you know is unimportant, you have tons of life experience.

You know how to hunt...teach it. Fish....teach it.

People need to use this time to learn, to expand, to grow strong, and learn to withstand the storm.

NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE US...WE WILL SAVE OURSELVES.

Prepping is great, but there’s no way possible to prep to the extent that you can handle absolutely anything that comes along for absolutely any length of time... so prepping won’t dissuade your fear.

The answer is to TRUST GOD and rely on Him... that’s what I do, and He’s seen me through more “certain doom” situations than I can count, and I’m better today for having gone through them.

Instead of engaging in fear porn, I ask you to consider what is said here.

FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER.

Don't let them kill yours. Stay calm and logical. Know who is on your side and who betrayed you. Pass down knowledge to those who need it.

USE THIS TIME TO GET WHAT YOU NEED AND PREPARE. JOIN WITH OTHERS. DON'T LET THEM DIVIDE US, EMOTIONALLY OR PHYSICALLY.

Let me tell you about fear.

First of all fear exists only in people that think too damn much about those things they fear the most.

In order to conquer fear you must push those things from your mind completely.

As I have done.

We all have our own private fear that panics us to the point where we are afraid to act, I conquered fear itself by compartmentalizing it into a mental box I can never open.

I made my own personal fear so ridiculous and so extreme I would never have to face it.

Are you a robot? You must be made of stone to not feel any fear at this point.

Just go outside and you can feel it in the air, on the roads, in the grocery store.

There is nothing logical about any of this.

This is not your regular, everyday fear. NONE of us have experienced this before. Hence the word "unprecedented" being used nonstop.

Personally I want to encourage people to work with those around them, to stop fearing this virus scam, and to think about how they can work in their communities to help EVERYONE become more independent. No man can win the fight alone, and there IS a war coming. A war within and a war - possibly - without. We're not going to win it as lone individuals, which is how they want to keep us. We've got to join together.

What helps me in living in the now.

Yes I have a garden but it's not growing right now. I have seeds planted and they will grow.

Doing something like gardening and the like helps my fear.

I'm so glad to see people participating - thank you all so much!!!! I welcome all your suggestions and ideas and I'm sure that they'll be very useful.

Fear is the one thing we really have to overcome because as Anonymous Girl says....what we're seeing now is unprecedented for us. Even in our prior wars, WW1 and WW2, we were at least allowed to join together to fight a common external enemy. Here we are being forced to STAY ALONE to keep us from each other and to fight an invisible enemy....that doesn't really exist as they say it does. You can disagree with me on that, but....it is what it is.

A side-effect of fearlessness is often carelessness.

Purge your fears but don't throw caution to the wind either.

That would be true if people only read the Fear porn threads - there are obviously people who post things here just to stoke that. But there are many great people here and many very useful and helpful threads about how to survive and thrive even in times like this.

Many people right now are also very isolated and their GLP family may be an important connection for them. Keep it going if it helps!!!

Which also makes me think of how important it is to try to keep a sense of humor. Humor gives us perspective and distance and enables us to control worse emotions. This is a good time to watch comedies and lighter things and try to cheer ourselves up. It helps people keep their chin(s) up!!!

Stop being afraid. It's a mindset. Turn your thoughts to productivity for yourself and your family. Enjoy the dopamine high of building and creating something that will serve you and your family, good times and bad.
