Germany doesn't register anyone with any comorbidity as covid death. They even used recent fractures as cayse of death for corona virus deceaseds.

They are testing for all forms of coronavirus. The US totals are garbage.

Mayor of NY just stated at his presser that less than 1% of those being hospitalized for coronavirus are dying.

On an average day, in Lombardy 300 people or so die.

They have had 500 or so deaths a day for the past week just from CoV.

If what you say is true, and all deaths (car accident, suicide, homicide, cancer, old age) are being called CoV deaths, what's killing the other 200 people?

Italy tests post-mortem for COVID-19 and counts ANY positives as a COVID-19 death. Germany only counts deaths of those being treated for COVID-19.

What made the amount of people who die every day in Lombardy double then? If every single death from ANY cause in that region was classified as CoV, there would still be TWICE as many people dying per day compared to a couple of months ago.

So at 62 million pop, that puts them at about 5100 deaths per year.

120 day flu season would give you about 43 flu deaths per day on average.

The peak of the flu season is never the end of March, usually December-February.
