I'm trying to figure out if I qualify. I haven't lost much interest yet as a writer and legal researcher, but I didn't get my expected raise either, and it was supposed to be a LOT. I'm in a bit of an ass pickle and could use it, but I don't know if I qualify if I'm still working the same as last year for the moment...that could change in a couple weeks.

I invested about $10,000 into products, that are sitting in a $300 per month storage space in midtown manhattan that I legally cannot access and am obligated to pay this month regardless. The thing that sucks is since not be able to access the warehouse, I've had a bunch of sale enquiries. But the loan doesn't ask what the running expenses are.

For anyone with employees, the news has been saying for days that it will be treated as a grant if you use it for payroll, rent, utilities or insurance. They mentioned as of now it would be for 8 weeks but they might extend that.

Looks like a loan not a grant, however, those that are employees of their own s corp may have an angle. Didn't pull the trigger because they asked for my bank info.

I went through the whole application process. It didn't even ask me how much money I needed. Nor did it say what the interest rate or the re-payment terms were going to be. Weird

Yeah. I would wait on this one. Don't give out your bank info. Question is it might be better for independent contractors to go the unemployment on steroids route vs the loan/grant route. Will know more this week

Thank you for that. Don't know if we will qualify since we haven't been affected too bad. Biggest problem we had was emptying a room in our house to turn into an office for my wife & I and buying furniture. Although we do get to pay for an office that were not even using right now.
